How Great Is Our God

You guys, I cannot express to you what is going on in my world right now without smiling and being full of excitement and joy. I’ve been contacted by a sweet friend, Kate B., about a future business proposal. I can’t share too much info about it because we haven’t sat down to discuss anything yet, but I can tell you I’m praying about it for sure. Basically, we’re thinking about starting a magazine. 🙂 EEK! Get excited!!!

I’ve been doubting my gift of writing. I don’t think I’m the best writer. I don’t have much faith in my abilities. But, I do have faith in a God that is bigger and can work past my inabilities. He can and will enable me to do the work He has predestined me to do. Whatever that is, He knows. He’ll equip me when the time is right. He’s so faithful.

If you remember to, could be praying that God gives Kate and I clarity, wisdom, and assurance? First and foremost I want to be doing God’s will. I don’t want to seek after my own fulfillment and satisfaction apart from Him. So, please, if you could, be praying!

On another note, I was talking to Aimee (my bunkmate) about this singer named Missi Hale. I first saw a video of her and her amazing voice on a YouTube video that B.Reith did years ago (I say that like I’m so old). She’s amazing. I couldn’t describe her voice in words to Aimee, so I searched for that same video. I didn’t find it, but I did find this one. I almost cried when I heard all of these amazingly talented singers harmonize  the song “How Great Is Our God.” It’s so powerful. So, watch and be blessed by this video and this post. Know that we worship a God who is omnipotent, omnipresent, all together worthy of our praise. 🙂

1 Thessalonians 5:16-24 16Rejoice always, 17pray without ceasing, 18give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. 19Do not quench the Spirit. 20Do not despise(E) prophecies, 21but test everything; hold fast what is good. 22Abstain from every form of evil. 23Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it.
